Visual Velocity Media, LLC, is a locally owned and operated digital media company based out of Raleigh, NC. As the local affiliate of a national direct-to-consumer marketing organization, our mission is to partner with local businesses in Raleigh and its surrounding suburbs to grow and engage with customers where they shop, eat, work and play. We are building a network of dynamic Indoor Digital Billboards strategically placed within local high-traffic businesses. Our digital screens display full motion ads highlighting local businesses and the unique services and deals they provide. Your advertisements on our billboards can’t be skipped, paused, or blocked.     Deleting TikTok of 29,000 followers actually saved my business. It's the same account that had a hand in organically generating $650k in 12 months. So why did I delete my account? And how did it save my business? First, the "social proof" and mental strain was not worth the time allocated to this one platform. And you bet I was not going to continue making point and shoot, short form videos 3-5 years down the line which my personal brand was built on. I couldn't automate it, I couldn't remove myself from it, so I AXED it... hard and happily. In order to really SCALE, I needed to double down on one platform and build a highly targeted, highly engaged audience. It took one platform and one post a day to get there. We proved the messaging, we built the audience, we generated the ideal buyer... We automated. We then took that audience and leveraged it as a data point for Facebook to find MORE people who look, behave and engage like this audience (called a look-alike)... If you are grinding horizontally -- across 8 social media platforms You are right, your audience and ideal client may be on every single one... But if you could replace HOURS per week with a couple of bucks on paid ads and remove yourself from the social media grind So you can work on your business Rather than in your business.. Scaling vertically, with less time and energy. Why would you go the horizontal, content hamster wheel route... "But paid ads cost money" Yes, but with the right strategy... Paid ads MAKE money 2.5-7x ROAS in fact. With less than 3 hours a week collectively spend between JP and myself. So deleting TikTok and the veniality metric of 29,000 saved time, energy, mental headache, and hours per week... Which is the best pivot I've ever made. #paidadvertising #metaads #marketing Cheers
